This certification attests to the knowledge of planning, executing, transferring, and running SAP workloads on AWS. Now, businesses can find and cultivate the best talent with the necessary knowledge and abilities for enhancing SAP workloads on AWS.
Who should take this exam?
AWS Certified: SAP on AWS – Specialty is intended for individuals in roles that require experience with both SAP and AWS. Before you take this exam, we recommend you have:
- Five or more years of SAP experienc
- One or more years of experience working with SAP on AWS
- Ability to design an SAP solution that runs in the AWS Cloud in adherence with best practices laid out in the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and SAP certification and support requirements

Length: 170 minutes to complete the exam
Cost: 300 USD
Format: 65 questions; either multiple choice or multiple response
Exam Content
Response types
There are two types of questions on the exam:
- Multiple choice: Has one correct response and three incorrect responses (distractors)
- Multiple response: Has two or more correct responses out of five or more
response options
Select one or more responses that best complete the statement or answer the question. Distractors, or incorrect answers, are response options that a candidate with incomplete knowledge or skill might choose. Distractors are generally plausible responses that match the content area.
Unanswered questions are scored as incorrect; there is no penalty for guessing. The exam includes 50 questions that affect your score.

The exam has the following content domains and weightings:
- Domain 1: Design of SAP Workloads on AWS (30% of scored content)
- Domain 2: Implementation of SAP Workloads on AWS (24% of scored content)
- Domain 3: Migration of SAP Workloads to AWS (26% of scored content)
- Domain 4: Operation and Maintenance of SAP Workloads on AWS (20% of scored content)

No, there is no action needed on your part. Your certification will remain active for 3 years from the date it was earned. You will be able to continue displaying and sharing your certification digital badge through Credly within that 3-year period.
You can still recertify the AWS Certified: SAP on AWS – Specialty by retaking the exam on or before April 29, 2024. Once recertified, your certification will remain active for 3 years from the date it was earned
If you have purchased professional and specialty vouchers, you can use your voucher for this exam before April 29, 2024, the last day of delivery for this exam.
